The Centre for Quantum Excellence and Competence of Latvia is a nationwide entity established to strengthen the development of quantum science and technology in Latvia. The Centre will bring together and support not only researchers from the University of Latvia, but also specialists from other Latvian universities and scientific institutes, thereby creating a unified national quantum ecosystem.
The main task of the Centre is to implement Latvia’s quantum strategy by strengthening the local quantum community, promoting interdisciplinary cooperation, supporting the public sector, and providing a platform for establishing new international partnerships.
