The Institute of Numerical Modelling (INM) at the UL Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) will host weekly scientific seminars every Thursday. All interested participants are welcome to attend as listeners. This week, on April 2 (Thursday) at 13:00--14:30 GMT+2, we have a guest from the RAS Joint Institute for High Temperatures, lead researcher Ivan Smolyanov, with a lecture on "MHD instabilities andmetal flow driven by pulsed magnetic field".
While clearly of interest to those of us in the field of magnetohydrodynamics, the analysis approaches presented in the lecture should be generally useful as well, and I therefore recommend tuning in.
As usual, the seminar takes place in Room 520 at the Institute of Numerical Modelling, and is also streamed online and recorded via MS Teams.
