13th Scientific Seminar of the INM

The Institute of Numerical Modelling (INM) at the UL Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) will host weekly scientific seminars every Thursday. All interested participants are welcome to attend as listeners.

This week, on Thursday, Jan 29, at 13:00--14:30 GMT+2, our guest at the INM weekly seminar will be Imants Kaldre from the Institute of Physics, University of Latvia (IPUL). Imants' lecture will feature the latest advances regarding magnetically controlled metal welding, delving into the underlying physics (MHD), numerical modelling, and model experiments. As usual, the presentation will take place in Room 520 at INM, and will be streamed/recorded online via MS Teams:
