Par vieslektoru (angļu val.): Prof. Dr. Alexander Zeier is the Global Managing Director for In-Memory Solutions (incl. SAP HANA/S4HANA) and Director of the Global HANA CoE and Accenture Innovation Center for SAP HANA in Kronberg, Germany. With more than 24 years of experience with SAP/IT systems, Dr. Zeier was key driver in the development of In-Memory which results in HANA, SAPs real-time platform for analytics and applications. He is a co-inventor of nine patents granted or filed regarding In-Memory Technology and Applications and is a co-author of seven books and more than 150 publications. Dr. Zeiers primary areas of expertise are: SAP HANA, SAP ERP, SAP APO, In-Memory Technology, Real-Time Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Business Process Optimization, Internet of Things (IoT), RFID as well as Enterprise Software, Logistics, Finance, SCM and Education. This time the lecture will be focused on the beginning and creation of SAP HANA, from a perspective of a person standing at the roots of SAP HANA. After that Professor Dr. Alexander Zeier will talk about current trends and future tendencies around SAP HANA as well as its application for people outside IT, i.e. economics, finance etc.
