Electronic application for studies will take place from 3 to 31 August. Apply for undergraduate studies.
On-site application for studies and acceptance of documents will take place on 29 and 31 August at 10:00–13:00 and on 30 August at 14:00–17:00, Jelgavas iela 1, Riga, Latvia, room 224, in the House of Nature of the Academic Centre of the University of Latvia.
Registration and signing of the study contract will take place on 2 September at 10:00–14:00, Jelgavas iela 1, room 224. Registering for studies and signing the study contract electronically will also be possible.

The Faculty of Geography and Earth Sciences offers studies on Latvian land, nature, people and internationally significant geospatial human-environmental systems, their research, solutions and applicable technologies. The Faculty of Geography and Earth Sciences is the only institution in Latvia that prepares specialists in geography, geology, and spatial development planning. This is the place where future employees are trained for territorial and environmental management institutions, municipalities, and private companies operating in geographic information systems and cartography, territorial development planning, environmental state assessment, landscape planning, natural and cultural heritage protection, and geological research.

Geography is a way of life. All current and former faculty students are united by the ties of the friendship of the "mafia of geographers" and the slogan "I don't recognise a peaceful life, what happiness is – I'm looking for it!". During studies, an "invisible support network" is created, applicable throughout life. Our most anticipated event is the legendary boat trip – geo-rally.
